That’s according to a survey by international travel site Skyscanner which surveyed 10,000 international travellers and found almost half thought airports should provide in-house cinemas.
Thirty-six per cent wanted sleeping pods, a feature Abu Dhabi airport unveiled last month at a cost of $13 an hour.
Singapore airport has two cinemas while the IMAX in Hong Kong airport is the largest in the city.
Skyscanner’s spokesperson Dave Boyte said cinemas and sleeping pods are an odd choice for first and second most popular choices.
«It’s interesting that the majority of respondents opted for watching movies and sleeping before a flight when they are the two things you’re most likely to do on a plane,» he said.
